Text Box: WARNING At present the personal injury market in England and Wales is penetrated by claims farmers who add little or no value to the case, sign up accident victims and then sell them on to solicitors on their short lists for prices which vary between £350 and £750 for a small value case and £5,000 for a larger case. This practice does not necessarily obtain for the victim the best legal representation. It is one view that victims are better served by searching for the best solicitor themselves and entering a fee arrangement with the solicitor of their choice either funded by the Legal Expense Insurers (if the victim has such) or by a conditional fee agreement (no win no fee).
